Shoulder Pummel & Stretch

Pummel & stretch…Recently after experimenting with Kelly Starret’s approach to soft tissue release using mobility tools and stretching we released some examples of this for the lower limb using the Spiky Ball to pummel and stretch tight points in the body and following this up with a stretch (either static and/or dynamic). Here are a few other spiky ball soft tissue releases for the shoulder and upper back, that when combined with stretching help to ‘decompress’ the region and improve mobility.
