Lower Limb Movement Workshop Series
This workshop series will also involve a number of other osteopaths, as well as strength and conditioning coaches, pilates educators and physiotherapist.The lower limb movement workshop series consists of 5 key workshops delivered over 5 different dates (Sundays) throughout the year. It has been designed for allied health professionals. Our aim is to provide you with a combination of assessment, exercise prescription strategies as well as further your abilities to manage chronic pain or tendinopathy cases).
Workshop 1 – Gait and movement assessment (Matt Harris and Ben McChesney, osteopaths and GIFT fellows of the Gray Institute)
Workshop 2 – Resistance training strategies for the lower limb (Heath Williams, osteopath, FMS, SFMA) and Martyn Girvan (strength and conditioning coach, current coach of the Malaysian Track Cycling Team and previous Collingwood S&C coach)
Workshop 3 – Pilates training strategies for the lower limb (Brett Webster and Jodie Sheehy – Pilates instructors and educators)
Workshop 4 – Chronic pain and movement variability (Grant Burrows, osteopath, GIFT fellow of the Gray Institute)
Workshop 5 – Managing lower limb tendinopathies (Peter Malliaris, physiotherapist)
