Covid stage 4 restrictions
Currently restrictions mean we can only provide in-clinic consultations for ‘urgent’ cases.
This means if you feel your level of function or symptoms would deteriorate significantly if you are unable to have treatment then you may be able to see us for a face to face consultation.
However, more specifically, the advice from Department of Health and Human Services (issued 7/8/20)
‘Face to face consultations must only be provided if the absence of, or delay of this care, would result in a significant change/deterioration in the patient/client’s functional independence necessitating escalation of care (e.g. a requirement for specialist input/review, an increase in care needs and/or alternate accommodation, avoiding a hospital admission or emergency department presentation).
Routine services are not permitted.’
You do not need a GP referral to see us.
If you feel that you need treatment please either email us firstname.lastname@example.org call us on 03 9939 3420 so we may assess your needs and make a booking for you if appropriate.
~Any cold/flu symptoms, or travelled recently, you can not attend.
~Our osteopaths will be wearing PPE, and patients need to wear masks.
~On arrival temperature tested and you’re required to hand sanitise.
~We disinfect surfaces between consults.
~You are allowed to travel for essential medical care.
~The 5km travel rule does not apply to existing patients.
~Your appointment confirmation email serves as reason to travel.
~New patients must be within 5km of the clinic.
Alternatively, we can schedule a consultation in for after September 12th when Stage 4 restrictions are currently set to be lifted, or please feel free to book a Telehealth consultation via the links.
