Hip 3D mobility

Check out this video showing a way to improve hip 3D mobility. The kneeling position is an effective starting position to target the hip and take out the calf. Using the arm drivers enables us to get top down movement in three planes of motion whilst also driving motion bottom up to the hip from the knee. This creates a variable stretch to the anterior hip which can increase the response in terms of range of active motion but also to replicate some of the variable trunk movement we may create in activities of daily living and better prepare us for this.
