DR CHRIS WALKER OSTEOPATH
Chris Walker osteopath, has developed a passion in the healthcare field, stemming from a keen interest in sports and fitness whilst growing up. Having a great interest in triathlon events has allowed Chris to gain a personal understanding of human movement and physiology. He also has an understanding of people trying to find the balance between training, work and life that often creates a challenge for us all.
Chris also has insight into the area of elite level training by working with the Richmond Football Club over the last 5 years. This has enhanced his ability to manage sports injury but also further develop his approach to musculoskeletal care.
Constantly developing his knowledge, Chris has a certificate IV in Pilates and is currently studying a Diploma of Pilates. This has been a great addition to his Osteopathic approach, giving him an ability to develop appropriate exercise rehabilitation prescription alongside his hands on Osteopathic skills, get people moving and improving their function between sessions, and individualising the approach to ensure people continue to move towards their goals. Also qualified in dry needling, he has worked to broaden his knowledge and add more tools to his skillset.
Chris is passionate about helping people to achieve better movement and function through quality hands-on osteopathic treatment, providing guidance with their exercise rehabilitation programs and management of their musculoskeletal issues. He enjoys interacting with people who consult him for osteopathy, getting to the cause of the person’s problem and quickly improving people’s overall symptoms, movement and function.
